Bend, OR-based firm Capstone Accounting and Tax said Tuesday it has strengthened its presence in central Oregon by acquiring Redmond-based CPA firm Nissen & Meyer.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The Nissen & Meyer team will continue to operate from their Redmond office, according to Capstone.
Founded in 1983 when Rick Nissen purchased the firm, Nissen & Meyer has served generations of clients with a personalized approach to tax planning, preparation, and advisory services.

Formerly known as Capstone CPAs, Capstone Accounting and Tax locked up an outside investment from San Diego-based private equity firm Seaside Equity Partners last April. Capstone said the outside capital will provide the financial and strategic support needed to accelerate its long-term growth, strengthen client service offerings, and expand its market presence through mergers and acquisitions.
Founded in 2004, Capstone Accounting and Tax is a full-service accounting firm providing tax, accounting, and advisory services to businesses and individuals.
