Forvis Mazars LLP, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the United States, today announced a $200,000 donation to Feeding America. This donation was made through the Forvis Mazars Foundation and reflects the firm’s commitment to the local communities it serves across the country.
More than 47 million Americans experience food insecurity, according to Feeding America. The nonprofit organization partners with food banks, food pantries, and meal programs nationwide in pursuit of its commitment to an America where no one is hungry.
The Forvis Mazars Foundation focuses on three pillars of giving: health and wellness, education, and food security.

Tom Watson to Remain CEO of Forvis Mazars
“At Forvis Mazars, our purpose is to help those we serve unlock their full potential, and it is certainly difficult to realize one’s potential while facing hunger,” said CEO Tom Watson. “That is why our firm has chosen to focus on this important issue as we partner with local organizations to make a positive difference in our communities.”
“Our partners and team members across the country are deeply inspired by Feeding America’s mission,” said David Evans, co-managing partner of the consulting practice at Forvis Mazars. “We are honored to help further that mission by supporting the Feeding America network of local food banks through this donation.”
In addition to today’s donation announcement, team members from Forvis Mazars also are focused on volunteering at local food banks that partner with Feeding America in the coming months. This past summer, team members from across the firm donated more than 10,500 volunteer hours to nonprofit organizations as part of its annual IMPACT Days.
“We believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food,” said Elizabeth Pettengill, senior director of new partnerships at Feeding America. “We are grateful for the support of Forvis Mazars and its employees who have joined the movement to end hunger.”
