Fintech company K1x announced on Sept. 25 it has expanded its Aggregator Plus platform to include new W-2 data extraction capabilities.
This Aggregator Plus expansion unifies unstructured and structured K-1, 1099, and W-2 data extraction in a single platform, helping tax professionals eliminate up to 90% of manual entry, the Morristown, NJ-based company said in a media release.
“Each busy season, CPA firms, corporate tax teams, family offices, and private wealth advisors spend countless hours collating K-1s, reconciling 1099s across brokerages, and keying in W-2s. Aggregator Plus addresses this challenge by extracting both structured and unstructured data—including footnotes, attachments, K-3s, and state filings—into clean, review-ready formats,” K1x said.
Launched in July and built as an optional upgrade to K1 Aggregator, Aggregator Plus provides accounting and tax professionals with a unified solution for processing complex investor tax documents across multiple entities and asset classes. The extension is purpose-built for the needs of accounting firms, alternative investment funds, and family offices, where fragmented tax workflows and tight deadlines often increase costs and audit risks, K1x said at the time.

Key features of Aggregator Plus with W-2 support include:
- Comprehensive extraction: K-1 footnotes, K-3s, 199A, UBI, whitepapers, 1099s (e.g., 1099 INT, DIV, OID, B, Consolidated), and W-2 line items.
- Tabular application design: Seasonal views across form types for intuitive workflows.
- Instance summaries and reporting: Surface K-1 and 1099 income items in summarized reports, accelerating the workpaper creation and data compilation processes. Seeing all the investment income items in one place for high-net-worth individuals can unveil tax insights and opportunities buried within the data.
- Direct CCH Axcess integration: Push clean data into returns with a single click.

By consolidating compliance into one platform, Aggregator Plus helps accounting professionals and advisors scale high-net-worth relationships without adding headcount while reducing error-prone manual processes and accelerating compliance cycles, K1x said.
“With Aggregator Plus, firms no longer need a patchwork of tools or late-night spreadsheet stitching,” K1x CEO John LaMancuso said in a statement. “By combining K-1, 1099, and W-2 automation with one-click CCH Axcess integration, we’re helping teams reclaim time for advisory work and client conversations—where high-net-worth practices add the most value.”
The launch includes promotional incentives offering unlimited 1099 and W-2 automation free for one year to firms adopting Enhanced or Enterprise bundles by Sept. 30, 2025.
