UHY has appointed Laura LaPeer as chief financial officer. UHY is a leading national accounting and business advisory firm with over 40 offices across the U.S. and is a founding member of UHY International.
As CFO, LaPeer will play a key leadership role in upholding UHY’s financial integrity, providing strategic insights, and enhancing accounting and transactional support across the firm. She will be based in UHY’s Farmington Hills, Michigan office.
LaPeer’s focus will be on closely collaborating with industry leaders, office managing partners, and executive leadership to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial information that empowers smart, informed decision-making.

LaPeer has more than 25 years of experience in similar roles, including most recently as CFO at a top 20 accounting firm. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint and is a licensed CPA in Michigan.
