In a move aimed at strengthening its construction industry practice, top 10 accounting firm Forvis said on May 20 that it will be acquiring ConTech360, a provider of construction technology services based in Charlotte, NC.

The deal is expected to close in the fall.

ConTech360’s two managing partners, Jim Wagner and Steve Maddox, will join Forvis as managing directors.

Forvis also announced on Monday that it has joined the Trimble Authorized Business Development Partner program. Under the agreement, Forvis will provide expertise to its construction industry clients throughout the purchase, deployment, and implementation of Trimble’s Viewpoint ERP software platforms.

“Forvis and Trimble have long enjoyed significant collaboration showcased through a shared passion for advancing the construction industry and an unwavering focus on contractor needs,” Lawrence Smith, vice president of construction management solutions at Trimble, a Westminster, CO-based industrial technology company, said in a statement. “We are delighted to extend our already-strong collaboration with Forvis to new areas in service of helping contractors transform their business to move into the future faster and with more confidence.”
