Recent Career Highlights:
Over the past year, I have continued to grow SSY Accounting Solutions with a strong focus on serving nonprofit organizations and mission-driven businesses. In addition to my work with clients, I actively volunteer as a board member and financial adviser to nonprofit organizations, providing guidance on financial strategy, compliance, and sustainability.
I have also focused on building scalable processes within my firm, allowing us to expand our reach while maintaining a high level of personalized service. These efforts have allowed me to combine professional expertise with community impact, supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference.
What are you doing to make a difference beyond your firm, in the community or profession?
In addition to volunteering as a board member and financial adviser to nonprofit organizations, I am focused on supporting the next generation of accounting professionals. My firm is launching an internship program for college students, inspired by my own experience starting at a small firm while in school, which played a key role in my development. I am also developing a nonprofit-focused accounting podcast, set to launch soon, aimed at sharing practical insights and increasing accessibility to financial knowledge for mission-driven organizations. Through these efforts, I strive to give back to both the profession and the community.
