Recent Career Highlights:
Over the past year, I’ve focused on growing a modern CPA firm that integrates tax planning, accounting, and advisory into a single, streamlined client experience. At One Stop CPA, we prioritize creating value for a smaller client roster, while maintaining efficient compliance systems.
Alongside the firm, I launched the Scaling Smart podcast to share practical insights on pricing, automation, and advisory services for accountants looking to grow more intentionally. I’ve also remained active in the accounting profession through speaking engagements and tax-technology industry collaborations with CPA.com, BlueJ, TaxDome and MyCPE One.
Through my community “The Growth Lab”, I collaborate directly with other accountants to help them structure their systems, improve positioning, and build more scalable, profitable firms without relying on traditional high-volume compliance work.
What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
Outside of my firm, I focus on representing the small firm perspective in conversations where that voice isn’t always present. As a 15+ year tax professional, I’ve worked through multiple shifts in the profession – from the 2010s through COVID to today’s rapid AI and technology adoption – and bring a practical, real-world perspective to those discussions.
Through my podcast, community, and industry involvement, I share how firm owners can adapt their business models, tech stacks, and client relationships. I’m especially interested in connecting with accountants who are serious about building a more scalable, advisory-focused firm.
