Awards Recognize Programs That Enhance QuickBooks

LAS VEGAS – Nov. 8, 2010 – The winners of this year’s Awesome
QuickBooks Add-Ons were announced today at the 2010 Accounting Solutions Conference,
recognizing technologies that can be added to, or used alongside, QuickBooks
to provide additional features and capabilities for the millions of small and
mid-sized companies that rely on the world’s leading business accounting
system. The awards are presented annually by The Sleeter Group, the nation’s
largest network of small business technology consultants.

“QuickBooks is an excellent accounting platform for most small businesses,
but for some industry segments and niche entities, additional capabilities are
needed to provide enhanced reporting, analysis, inventory management, e-commerce,
distribution and other functions,” said Doug Sleeter, founder and president
of The Sleeter Group. “This is where ‘add-on’ applications
and services come in, integrating with QuickBooks to give managers the extra
power they need to enhance their efficiency and productivity.”

The Sleeter Group continually studies the marketplace of add-on software and
services that enhance the systems and workflow processes for small businesses.
To qualify for the Awesome Add-On honor, technologies must seamlessly integrate
with QuickBooks and provide intuitive design, ease-of-use and conformance with
appropriate accounting standards. The Sleeter Group also examines applications
designed to benefit users of other small business accounting systems, including
Peachtree, BusinessVision, MAS and Microsoft Dynamics.

Held this year in Las Vegas, The Sleeter Group’s annual Accounting Solutions
Conference is attended by hundreds of accountants, bookkeepers, consultants
and IT professionals, providing them with educational opportunities presented
by industry experts, thought leaders and technology developers.

In addition to awarding the Awesome QuickBooks Add-On recognition each year,
The Sleeter Group highlights recently introduced technologies that are emerging
with potential benefits to the small business marketplace. For 2011, The Sleeter
Group’s “New Products to Watch” are: eCommerceConnector
