ADP Intuit

ADP and Intuit have partnered to allow QuickBooks Online users to seamlessly connect their accounting data with RUN Powered by ADP, minimizing effort and providing an easy, real-time experience that best meets their business needs. This is the latest step in an ongoing, collaborative, cross-platform relationship between the companies.

ADP is a provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, and Intuit is a global developer of small business management technologies.

The new integration offers a simplified, friendly design and powerful, two-way integration. Users will save time, experience fewer errors and less re-work, leading to a streamlined payroll and accounting experience.  QuickBooks ProAdvisors have the ability to access this functionality for all their RUN clients through Accountant Connect, ADP’s cloud-based client platform.

The partnership provides a simpler and more accurate General Ledger Interface mapping experience, eliminating the need for offline customer service assistance to activate and manually set up the integration. Once set up, the need to manually generate general ledger files and download data for each pay period is eliminated.  Mapping and integration have also been improved for QuickBooks Desktop users.  It is easy to set up and complete, from start to finish, in a true do-it-yourself fashion.

“Accountants are increasingly transitioning into the role of strategic business advisor,” said Joe DeSilva, SVP, Small Business Services at ADP.  “This integration gives back much-needed time that accountants can use to re-invest in their broader advisory services.”

With this timesaving, accountants can provide more strategic offerings to deliver real business value for clients, such as enhanced Compensation Benchmarking powered by ADP DataCloud, which can be used to advise clients on hiring and talent retention.

“Intuit and ADP are both committed to helping accountants and small business owners succeed,” said Ariege Misherghi, Accountant Leader at Intuit. “This new platform integration delivers on that commitment by helping our joint customers be more efficient and save time so they can focus more on strategic business decisions that help them grow and prosper.”

“We now have this full, seamless cloud solution for our clients” said, Jennifer Brazer, Founder and CEO of Complete Controller.  “TSheets is the perfect mobile on the go app that now integrates directly with RUN.  Combined with Accountant Connect you just can’t lose.   This process allows us to get in there and run the payrolls and reports and integrate directly into QuickBooks Online saving us and our client’s time and energy”.  View the entire case study here.

Heather Satterley, a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, will highlight the new integration in her webinar,Grow Your Firm with Process Automation Advisory Services on May 16th.  Demonstrations will be available in the ADP booths at Scaling New Heights 2019 in Salt Lake City in June and QuickBooks Connect 2019 in San Jose in November.
