Recent Activities
I run a virtual monthly mastermind for CPAs to discuss or wins, struggles, technology, efficiency, changes in industry etc. started in June. I started a podcast “From Zero to Millions: Accounting Edition” in November with my colleague, Bilal Mehanna geared towards accountants and firm owners. Frequent guest on Reimagining Your Tax Practice (AICPA series). LinkedIn content mostly geared towards firm owners and supporting the community. Accounting Today article (starting a firm instead of buying one!)

Recent Career Highlights
In the past year, I reached very lofty goals for my own firm, while supporting the profession and giving birth to my second child, my daughter, in May! Being a mom of a 3 year old and a newborn while running a practice with staff is not for the faint of heart. I am so grateful to do both and represent entrepreneur moms everywhere! In the past year, I have been nominated for Top 50 Women In Accounting by Ignition and awarded Top 50 Women In Business on Long Island. I was featured on Floqast’s “Unqualified Opinions” where I shared my insight and experience in public accounting. My practice has grown to support four staff members and a half million dollars in revenue in just under three years!

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
My commitment to contributing to the profession beyond the confines of my firm is evident in various initiatives I’ve undertaken in the last few years. Since June, I’ve been facilitating a monthly virtual mastermind for CPAs, providing a collaborative space to discuss industry challenges, technological advancements, and professional growth opportunities. In collaboration with my colleague Bilal Mehanna, I co-host the “From Zero to Millions: Accounting Edition” podcast, launched in November, which serves as a valuable resource for accountants and firm owners seeking insights and strategies. Additionally, I frequently contribute as a guest on “Reimagining Your Tax Practice,” an AICPA series, where I share practical wisdom and innovative approaches. Accounting Today published one of my articles elaborating on the power of starting your own practice. Engaging actively on LinkedIn, I leverage the platform to offer support, guidance, and insights to fellow firm owners and professionals.
