Career highlights – maximum 150 words: Recently, as Head of Gusto’s Accountant Community, I am the chief architect of People Advisory powered by Gusto – a new advisory category in Client Accounting Services – which empowers accountants and bookkeeper’s to combine their financial expertise with people-focused advising to help clients (and their teams) create a more resilient place to work during challenging times. In under four months of launch to the accounting profession, 1,000+ accounting professionals are People Advisor Certified (CPE available), representing 600+ firms and practices Nationwide. 

In addition, I have been honorably featured in Forbes, Business Insider, and Fast Company, and I occasionally release op-eds through Accounting Today (https://www.accountingtoday.com/author/will-lopez). Before Gusto, I founded AdvisorFi, a modern cloud-based accounting firm that empowered both clients and accounting peers to leverage digital transformation to the benefit of the profession – also built browser-based tech that integrated with modern software to differentiate our practice and solve firm workflows.
