IRS Scammer Gets Called by the BBB
Any real issue a taxpayer has with the IRS will start with a letter… in regular mail… from the U.S. Post Office. Here is a conversation between the Better Business Bureau and a scammer. Beware that you should never give our your personal information to someone you don’t know over the phone.
