Cloudvara is well suited for accounting and legal firms, as well as other types of businesses looking for QuickBooks and other application hosting capability. Cloudvara specializes in QuickBooks hosting and is an Authorized Standard QuickBooks Host. Legal, accounting, and tax software hosting is also available, with hosting services available world-wide.

Cloudvara currently guarantees a 99.5 % uptime, with company servers located in a major data center in the U.S. All data centers employ state of the art security measures including SOC reporting, ISO certifications, along with both HIPAA and PCI compliance. All data is backed up daily, and anti-virus protection is provided for all data stored on its servers. In addition, hardware firewalls are used to protect data. Along with desktop and laptop access, users can access hosted applications from iPhones, iPads, or Android smart phones and tablets.

Cloudvara offers multiple versions of its hosting plan, making it suitable for small businesses with a single user, to accounting and legal firms with dozens of users. There is also an Enterprise version available that supports both unlimited users and unlimited applications.

To get started, new users will receive a link via email which they will need to save to their desktop. The link includes the RDP connector, which connects users to Cloudvara servers. Once the connector is saved to the user’s current desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device, they will be able to access applications by simply clicking on the connector icon.

Users will need to purchase any software hosted by Cloudvara, and are able to purchase Intuit and Microsoft applications directly from Cloudvara, which is an authorized reseller of these products. Turnaround time for accessing applications remotely is usually around 24 hours from the initial signup period.

Cloudvara’s specialty is QuickBooks hosting, but they offer hosting for other applications as well, including Sage 50, Sage 100, and Sage 300, Act CRM, Drake Tax, FileMaker Pro, Fishbowl Inventory, Goldmine CRM, Inflow, Microsoft Office ProSeries, and Lacerte Tax. Cloudvara is also a Certified Cloud Management Provider, offering Microsoft Azure Cloud Management services to small to mid-sized businesses, with Cloudvara offering complete migration assistance, updates, and around the clock support. Cloudvara will also host additional applications upon request from the client.  

Cloudvara offers 24/7/365 product support via email and chat with the main office located in Los Angeles, with additional offices in New Delhi. Users can access support via the Support Center, where an FAQ database is also available, as is a video tutorial which guides users through the process of accessing the virtual server.

Cloudvara is best suited for small to mid-sized accounting firms, legal firms, and other businesses that are looking for QuickBooks hosting at an affordable price. Cloudvara hosts all desktop versions of QuickBooks including QuickBooks Canada.

Pricing for Cloudvara drops as the number of users and applications goes up. The Starter Cloud version of Cloudvara is designed for 1-3 users and can host up to 3 applications, and costs $42 per user per month. The Business Cloud version is designed for 4-10 system users and up to 5 applications, and costs $38 per user per month. Finally, the Professional Cloud version is for more than 10 users and up to 10 applications and costs $33 per user per month. Enterprise Cloud and Private Cloud options are also available, with pricing available directly from Cloudvara. All versions of Cloudvara offer a dedicated virtual server, data security, and 24/7/365 live support. A 15-day trial period of Cloudvara is available.
