Career highlights

I decided to venture off the traditional public accounting path early in my career to pursue my passion for creating the next generation of CPAs. I was appointed in May 2017 to Chief Operating Officer at Yaeger CPA Review after joining the company in 2015. I previously led the Content Development department. I enjoy helping people pass the CPA exam, and I am able to do this on a daily basis at Yaeger CPA Review. Also, I am an adjunct accounting instructor for several online universities and I am a regular contributor to the industry blog, Going Concern. Prior to transitioning to academia, I worked at KPMG in the IT attestation department in Denver. Before that, I attended the University of Denver and graduated summa cum laude with my undergraduate degree in general business and my master’s degree in accountancy.

I am passionate about meaningful instructional design for CPA candidates and training the next generation of CPAs who can think critically and evolve with the needs of the profession. In CPA exam review, I am driven to improve our current product offerings in the exam review industry so that students have an affordable option that prepares them to excel on the CPA exam — regardless of their educational background. The world needs more accountants. I hope that I can strengthen the entire profession by decreasing the number of CPA candidates that drop out each year after failing all or part of the CPA exam.
