Caridad Vasallo is an active participant in the accounting community. She serves on the board for several organizations including the Florida International University Accounting Advisory Board, The Downtown Chapter of the Florida Institute of CPAs, My Man Is Not My Plan (MMINMP), The Women’s Fund Young Professional group, and she is the treasurer for the South Florida Auto Rental Association.
Her passion is in mentoring and assisting women and girls. She is providing opportunities to others as well in her daily work as a partner with the boutique firm, VMBG Accounting. Caridad is a previous recipient of the FICPA’s 26 Under 36 Award. Caridad has also made numerous presentations to organizations such as the FICPA and MMINMP, while also providing contributions to her community through educational segments on WSVN Channel 7 news. Her contributions to the accounting profession are demonstrated in her efforts with the FICPA, the community, professional presentations, and her passion for mentoring others.
