Intuit ProSeries (www.proseries.com) includes compliance modules for all tax reporting. In its newest release, ProSeries has added fiduciary reporting for AZ, CO, CT, GA, MI, MO, OK and VA, and streamlined downloading and installation of programs. The company has also improved efficiency of several key areas:
New Speed Entry feature that remembers data that’s been previously entered and can automatically fill redundant entries
Improved federal/state integration that allows more data to flow automatically between returns
Enhanced acknowledgements and rejection notices
Support for the Practitioner PIN program
“To help professionals save time throughout the entire tax preparation process, we’ve made some exciting enhancements to this year’s ProSeries software,” said Carol Howe, Director of Product Management for ProSeries. “For example, it’s easier than ever to download and install ProSeries products, enter clients’ tax data with fewer keystrokes, quickly locate particular tax forms, file returns electronically and more. Plus, we’ve added several new business states, as well as the ability to e-file state-only returns. And with our in-product Help, the answers are right at your fingertips: Enter just one question or keyword, and the program searches all the program’s Help resources.” Howe added, “We believe these improved features will enable ProSeries customers to be more efficient, productive and profitable in Tax Year 2003.”
