PwC Appoints New Assurance Leader for Carolinas Market

Big 4 accounting firm PwC US has appointed Jessica Good, a 20-year veteran of the firm, as the Assurance leader for the firm's Carolinas market. In her new role, she will lead a practice comprising over 375 PwC professionals throughout North and South Carolina. Good succeeds Crawford Pounds who has been appointed as the Market Managing Partner (MMP) for PwC's Carolinas market.

Big 4 accounting firm PwC US has appointed Jessica Good, a 20-year veteran of the firm, as the Assurance leader for the firm's Carolinas market.  In her new role, she will lead a practice comprising over 375 PwC professionals throughout North and South Carolina.  Good succeeds Crawford Pounds who has been appointed as the Market Managing Partner (MMP) for PwC's Carolinas market.

“Jessica has a proven track record, deep experience in our market, and tremendous passion for helping our clients adapt and succeed in a world of constant change,” said Crawford Pounds, Managing Partner of PwC's Carolinas Market.  “Her experience will enable PwC to continue leading the way in delivering quality services to our clients.”

Previously, Good served as PwC's Carolinas Technology, Products and Services market leader in the Carolinas.  Her experience includes managing complex accounting transactions including carve outs and spinoffs, SEC reporting, and working with clients on Sarbanes-Oxley issues as well as mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.

“I look forward to leading PwC's Carolinas Assurance practice, helping companies fulfill their reporting obligations and addressing complex business issues in a changing economic environment,” said Good. “My focus will be on driving growth both in our core audit and non-audit services, and, above all, continuing to deliver quality work to our clients.”

Good has been with PwC since 1993 and was admitted to the partnership in 2005.  She holds a B.S. in accounting from Wake Forest University and is a CPA licensed in New Jersey and North Carolina.  She is a member of the AICPA and serves on the Board of the Piedmont Opera. Additionally, she has taught Introduction to Auditing at Wake Forest and serves on the Board of Visitors and the Accounting Advisory Board for the Wake Forest University Schools of Business. Previously Good served in Executive Board roles for the Greensboro Symphony, Junior Achievement and Junior League.
