St. Louis Accounting Firms to Merge, Will Become Largest Local Firm in Metro
Two St. Louis accounting firms, Scheffel & Company, PC and J.W. Boyle & Co., LTD, have announced that they will finalize a merger of the two practices effective January 1, 2014. The new firm will be named Scheffel Boyle. Both firms have a long established metro St. Louis presence and serve specialized practice areas.

Two St. Louis accounting firms, Scheffel & Company, PC and J.W. Boyle & Co., LTD, have announced that they will finalize a merger of the two practices effective January 1, 2014. The new firm will be named Scheffel Boyle. Both firms have a long established metro St. Louis presence and serve specialized practice areas.
Scheffel Boyle will provide full service accounting, audit, tax, business and financial consulting to businesses and individuals, with a staff of approximately 90 professionals. The merger positions the firm as the largest locally owned accounting firm in Southwestern Illinois and one of the largest accounting firms in the St. Louis metropolitan area. It will continue to have locations in Alton, Edwardsville, Belleville, Highland, Columbia, Jerseyville and Carrollton, Illinois.
