CPA Practice Advisor in Partnership with the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) are recognizing the women who are having the greatest impact on the tax and accounting field. Professionals who are emerging as the next generation of firm leaders, whether through new technologies, practices, workflow or dynamic work environments. All nominees must be women who currently work in or in roles that promote the tax and accounting profession, including firm operations staff, marketing professionals and technology vendors that serve the profession.

The "40 Under 40" program seeks to recognize top young individuals by allowing accountants, tax professionals and others in and related to the profession to nominate those persons that they strongly believe exemplify the very best of their field. You are the ones who have observed them, and we have confidence that you will help us identify those who will help shepherd the profession for the decades to come.

The Readers' Choice Awards allow those in and around the tax and accounting professions to select their favorite programs, hardware and other resources from more than 25 categories. This section gives readers an opportunity to voice support for the products they love, and also gives vendors valuable insight into the loyalty of their users.

CPA Practice Advisor's annual Tax & Accounting Technology Innovation Awards are the pinnacle of recognition for technology vendors serving the tax and accounting profession. Each year, a total of five awards are awarded based upon nominations received online and via mailed-in forms. The awards are not ranked or divided into categories. Instead, all nominated products and services that meet the submission requirements have the opportunity to be selected for any of the five awards. Award recipients will be decided by the Award Committee, which is comprised of the editorial staff at CPA Practice Advisor, thought leaders among the profession, and the publication's Editorial Advisory Board. Board members include accounting and tax professionals from various sized firms across the country who are engaged in a variety of practice areas.

The Awesome Application Awards, Presented by The Sleeter Group

Top 25 Thought Leaders & Hall of Fame Awards
Each year, CPA Practice Advisor brings together the top thought leaders in the accounting profession for three days of roundtable discussions, brainstorming and confidential discussions with the leading technology vendors serving the market. The Symposium also serves as the stage for the awarding of CPA Practice Advisor's Hall of Fame Awards, which recognize those who have helped guide the profession and have had a significant impact on it over the course of their careers.
