The staff of SD Mayer & Associates, an accounting, technology and financial advisory services solutions provider, is changing out of business attire and rolling up their collective sleeves today to volunteer at the SF-Marin Food Bank. This annual community giving day is part of the firm’s We Care service initiative.

“The firm was founded with the idea of investing in and giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said Stephen D. Mayer, founder and managing partner of SD Mayer & Associates. “I’m proud of our staff’s commitment to volunteer work and their enthusiasm for giving back to our local communities.”

At the firm’s founding, staff established the We Care initiative, a core pillar of SD Mayer’s business philosophy, which translates to clients, the company and the community. Past community giving days have included landscape clean-up at the Palace of Fine Arts, Adopt-a-Family program during the holidays, a buddy program at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco, and a home-building project for Habitat for Humanity.
