Crest Payroll is designed specifically for payroll service providers, including professional accounting firms that offer payroll services to their clients. In addition to their primary payroll product, Paramount also offers Business Pay, which is primarily aimed at small to mid-sized businesses interested in processing payroll in-house. Crest Payroll supports an unlimited number of clients and employees, making the product well suited for those processing high volumes of payroll for clients.

Crest Payroll is an online payroll product and can be used on a multitude of devices including desktop and laptop systems as well as smart phones and tablets. The mobile version of Crest Payroll offers the same functionality as the online version, so all payroll functions can be handled from anywhere, using any device.

Crest Payroll has a comprehensive product setup, with payroll processing completely automated once system setup is completed. Users need only enter data when additions or changes to the regular payroll are needed. Users also have the option to process after-the-fact payroll when necessary. Crest Payroll can handle an unlimited number of clients and their   employees.

Crest Payroll contains tax tables for all 50 states. Reporting options area good, with over 40 standard payroll reports available in the product. All reports are completely customizable using the Custom Report Designer, which is included in the product. All reports can be exported to both Microsoft Word & Excel and users can save all report as a PDF as well. The product easily handles all payroll liability reporting including all local, state, and federal reporting requirements. Taxes are also paid directly by Crest, with the product offering both e-File and e-Pay capability. Both new hire and W-2 processing is also handled by Crest.

Time is easily tracked in Crest Payroll using the web-based time clock feature that is included in the product. Users can also import time and attendance data from other systems as well.

Crest Payroll offers seamless integration with applications which include HR Tools, Sales Tax Management, e-Sign, and Pay-As-You-Go Workers Compensation insurance. The product also integrates with QuickBooks products.

Crest Payroll users can offer clients varying level of access to the product, with access levels varied, including no access, limited access, reporting access, to custom access which includes the ability to enter employee time, and even print checks in their own office, including the ability to remotely enter employee time. An employee self-service portal is also available in the product that allows clients and their employees to easily access paystubs and W-2s.

Crest Payroll offers an excellent selection of HR tools including Paid Time Benefits, Leave Management, Performance Review Management, as well as access to an online document center.

Users can access support directly from the product as well as the website. A support portal is also available, where users can access payroll news, troubleshoot current issues, and access the support forum. Users can request support from the Paramount website, and both telephone and email support is available as well.

Crest Payroll is a completely automated payroll system, with system users only responsible for the initial product setup. Product pricing is inclusive, with no limits on the number of users in each firm or business. There are no additional fees assessed for paychecks or pay runs.

For firms or businesses that process high volumes of payroll and are looking for an automated solution, Crest Payroll is an excellent fit.
