(KENNESAW, GA, October 19, 2011) – CCH Small Firm Services (SFS) today announced the launch of 3Fund, a new, flexible solution for tax professionals who offer bank products to their clients. The new preparer payment product was designed to give tax professionals increased flexibility in refund products to better meet the needs of their clients.
3Fund enables tax professionals to offer their clients three different ways to receive a tax refund – debit card, direct deposit or check – under a single product umbrella. The increased flexibility will make it easier to meet client needs, resulting in a better experience for both the client and the tax preparer.
“Consumers are adopting new technologies and new behaviors more quickly in every phase of their lives,” noted Shannon Bond, SFS Commercial Product Line Manager. “If tax preparers can only offer refunds one way, or at one price, they are going to find themselves increasingly left behind. Consumers will take their business to tax preparers who can offer them options regarding their refunds. 3Fund was developed to make it easy for tax preparers to offer consumers the choices they want and stay competitive in the marketplace.”
3Fund offers flexibility to the tax preparer as well as the consumer. 3Fund products carry low costs, giving the tax preparer the ability to remain competitive in the marketplace and the flexibility to adjust to changing competitive trends.
“As we were developing 3Fund,” explains Bond, “we took a fresh look at the pricing surrounding refund products and made the decision to eliminate the fees typically associated with many refund products. That was a big step in reducing costs to the preparer and, ultimately, the consumer.”
This move gives tax professionals the ability to adjust their pricing in ways which optimize their competitive profile in the marketplace while also optimizing their bottom-line results.
