The national accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) will host its second annual Insurance Hot Topics Seminar on September 20 at the Clarion Hotel in Exton, Pa.
Baker Tilly has partnered with law firm Stradley Ronon, dental support organization Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners and Baker Tilly subsidiary Baker Tilly Vantagen to bring attendees a full day of accounting, tax, risk management and regulatory updates and best practices for insurance companies.

This year’s agenda includes sessions on regulatory compliance, tax reform, healthcare reform, cybersecurity, revenue recognition and other accounting updates and corporate governance. The speakers will focus on how these topics affect insurance companies.
The Insurance Hot Topics Seminar is free to attend and includes breakfast, lunch and a networking happy hour after the day’s presentations. Registration is required. Attendees are eligible to earn up to eight continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
