NetSuite recently recognized Thomson Reuters with the NetSuite 2016 SuiteCloud New Partner of the Year Award. The award, announced at SuiteWorld 2016 in San Jose, Calif., honors a NetSuite partner that has helped joint customers grow and acknowledges the close collaboration between Thomson Reuters and NetSuite.

Last year, the two companies entered into a partnership designed to create an integrated solution connecting the NetSuite cloud ERP with Thomson Reuters industry-leading ONESOURCE Indirect Tax product; the integration was introduced to the market in March 2016. The partnership helps companies eliminate the risk and complexity associated with calculating, collecting, reporting and remitting sales, use and value-added taxes.

The integration provides small-to-large sized businesses a simple, easy-to-deploy solution for managing the sales and use tax process. It ensures customers no longer need to make manual modifications to enable tax automation, maintain their own tax schedules, independently research tax laws or manually enter tax rates.

“We are proud and honored to receive a formal recognition of the strong partnership we have forged with NetSuite. This award is indicative of the strong foundation we have built for fruitful, long-term collaboration,” said Chris Carlstead, managing director of Indirect and Property Tax at Thomson Reuters.  “We understood from very early on that if we properly leveraged the complementary strengths of the NetSuite and ONESOURCE teams, we could dramatically increase both the agility and efficiency of our joint customers.”

“Our partnership with Thomson Reuters can help companies navigate the complex waters of tax determination, reporting and compliance, especially as their businesses grow and expand across tax jurisdictions,” said Guido Haarmans, senior vice president of Business Development for Technology Partners at NetSuite. “We are excited about joining forces with Thomson Reuters to help provide our customers best-of-breed solutions.”
