Graydon Thompson Names New Audit Manager
Graydon Thompson LLC recently named Charles A. “Chuck” Goessel, CPAs manager on its Audit and Assurance Team. Goessel has eight years of public accounting experience working with regional firms and conducting financial and retirement plan audits of organizations in manufacturing, real estate, retail and professional services.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University. 

NSBN LLP Announces Three New Partners 
NSBN LLP, CPAs & Business Consultants recently announced the addition of Eric S. Adler, CPA, Tayiika M. Dennis, CPA and Carey M. Heyman, CPA as partners. Adler will advise individuals and closely-held companies in the real estate, horseracing and entertainment industries on business growth, taxation and planning.

Dennis will provide audit and tax services for nonprofit organizations. She currently serves as President of the Los Angeles Chapter, California Society of CPAs, and Board Treasurer of the Beauty Bus Foundation.

Heyman will have responsibility for providing accounting, audit, tax and consulting services to the real estate industry. He is currently the co-chair of NSBN’s Audit & Accounting Committee, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Affordable Housing Management Association, Pacific Southwest Chapter.

WeiserMazars Names Practice Leader
WeiserMazars LLP recently announced that it has named Principal Debra Bornstein as the new leader of its Healthcare Practice. Bornstein has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, working with both providers and payors. Her expertise is in managed care contracting, strategic planning, medical cost trending and operational transaction management.

Scheffel Financial Services’ Staff Members Honored
Scheffel Financial Services recently announced that two of its staff members, Jeff Westerhold and Matthew Gorton, were recognized by local organizations. Westerhold, a principal, was recently recognized as a top financial advisor and named to LPL Financial’s Chairman’s Club. Westerhold and his team at Scheffel Financial Services are affiliated with LPL and provide independent financial planning services, investment advice and asset management services to clients in the St. Louis and Southern Illinois regions.

Gorton was recently selected as a “Top 100 St. St. Louisans To Know To Succeed In Business” by the St. Louis Small Business Monthly. Gorton expertise is in developing financial strategies for small business owners and affluent clients to help them achieve their financial goals. He is also active in his community, working with numerous nonprofit associations.

Moore Colson Hires Wealth Management Registered Sales Assistant
Moore Colson Wealth Management recently added Jeannette A. Lewis as a LPL Registered Sales Assistant. Lewis has more than 20 years of investment experience. Her expertise includes operational management, client portfolios, account maintenance, securities trades, account transfers and client correspondence. Lewis earned her Series 7 & 63 licenses, attended the University of Baltimore, and is a 1987 graduate of the Community College of Baltimore County.

FTI Consulting Adds Managing Director
FTI Consulting, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Will Inglis as Senior Managing Director
and Leader of the firm’s Economic Consulting segment in Asia Pacific. Inglis has more than 25 years of experience in forensic accounting, dispute advisory and international arbitration. He has served on a variety of large expert witness assignments, and has acted as an arbitrator and expert determiner in a numerous contentious cases in the U.K., the U.S., Continental Europe and Australia.
