CohnReznick Names New Partners
CohnReznick recently named Zubin D. Mistry, CPA, CA, CISA audit partner of its Los Angeles office and James Wienclaw, CPA partner of its New York office. Mistry has more than 20 years of experience working with privately-held and public companies with debt and equity financing, public offerings, acquisition and divesture analysis, GAAP and statutory audits and internal controls under Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404. He is a graduate of Mumbai (Bombay) University in India.

Wienclaw has nearly 20 years of diversified public accounting experience, serving public and private companies and individual owners of closely-held businesses in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution, technology, commercial real estate and professional services industries. He chaired and organized the 2013 and 2014 New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants C Corporations Committee Annual Tax Conference and now serves as committee chairman. Wienclaw graduated from Long Island University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Taxation.

Bill.com Expands Leadership Team
Bill.com recently hired Colleen Lindow as vice president of payments, risk and compliance. In her new role, Lindow will oversee processing partner relationships, risk and compliance functions and payment operations. She has more than 20 years of ecommerce and payments experience, including holding several senior leadership positions. Lindow earned an MBA in international business from the University of San Francisco.

EagleBank Announces New Board Director
EagleBank recently selected Kathy A. Raffa, CPA to serve as the new director on its board. Raffa has over 30 years of accounting, tax and financial consulting experience. She is owner, audit partner and Vice President at Raffa, P.C., where she oversees the audits and client services for nonprofit businesses, as well as internal operations and human resource functions. Raffa graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

SuggsJohnson CPAs Names Tax Manager
SuggsJohnson LLC recently promoted John Clint Bates, CPA to tax manager on the firm’s tax team. In his role as tax manager, he will provide tax consulting and compliance services to individuals and closely-held businesses. Bates received his Business Administration/Accounting degree from The Citadel.

WSFS Financial Corporation and Alliance Bancorp, Inc. Sign Definitive Agreement
WSFS Financial Corporation and Alliance Bancorp, Inc. of Pennsylvania recently announced they have signed a definitive agreement and plan of merger. As part of the agreement, WSFS will acquire Alliance Bancorp, Inc. of Pennsylvania. Once the transaction has closed, Alliance Bank, the wholly owned bank subsidiary of Alliance Bancorp, Inc. of Pennsylvania will merge into WSFS Financial Corporation’s wholly owned bank subsidiary, WSFS Bank. Following the merger, WSFS will have 17 locations in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Scheffel Boyle’s Principal Awarded SIBA Award
Scheffel Boyle recently announced that its principal, Henry Siekmann, CPA, was honored at the annual Southern Illinois Builders Association’s award breakfast on behalf of his former firm Allison Knapp Siekmann. SIBA and the Southern Illinois Construction Advancement Program recognizes firms that have been members of the association for 50 years, individuals that complete all five modules of the AGC Project Manager Development Program and firms that have demonstrated a commitment to safety excellence. Siekmann is the former managing principal of AKS. When AKS joined with Scheffel Boyle last October, Siekmann and his staff became part of the Scheffel Boyle team, but he was also able to remain active in SIBA in his new position with the firm.
