SSF Promotes Scott Anderson to Partner
Sensiba San Filippo LLP recently announced the promotion of Scott Anderson to Partner. Anderson, who is based in the firm's San Jose office, specializes in providing audit services to privately-held businesses in the manufacturing and distribution, construction, renewable technologies and action sports industries. He was invited to join SSF's Partner-in-Training program in 2012.

Marcum LLP Names New Partner
Marcum LLP recently announced the appointment of Frank Miceli to Assurance Partner. Miceli is also a member of the firm's National Healthcare and Not-For-Profit Industry groups. He has more than 15 years of accounting, assurance and advisory services experience in the healthcare and not-for-profit industries. Miceli frequently presents on various accounting and regulatory issues and serves on the Boards of Directors for the Healthcare Financial Management Association Connecticut Chapter and the Association for Long-Term Care Financial Managers.

Marks Paneth Appoints New Partner to Real Estate Group
Marks Paneth LLP announced that Vivian Martinez, CPA has been named a partner in the firm's Real Estate Group. Martines has experience advising co-ops, low-income housing enterprises and commercial real estate organizations on accounting and tax issues. She is also a member of the firm's China Desk, a cross-disciplinary team of professionals who assist both US and Chinese businesses and individuals looking to work, invest, raise capital or do business in China and the US. Martinez graduated with her Bachelors of Science from Queens College of the City University of New York.

Dixon Hughes Goodman Names Ben Sady as Director
Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP recently announced the addition of Ben Sady, CIA, CISA, CRISC to the firm as a Director in the Richmond office. Sady brings more than ten years of consulting and advisory experience to the position. He will lead the firm's Risk Advisory Services for the Virginia Region. Sady's expertise and knowledge includes Business Process Improvement and Consulting, Internal Control Reviews, IT Audits, Internal Audits, Sarbanes-Oxley Assistance, Risk Assessments, SSAE16 / SOC Audits, Compliance Audits, and Vulnerability Assessments. He has worked in the technology, financial institutions, insurance, healthcare services, professional services, governmental, utilities, manufacturing and distribution, transportation, retail and non-for-profit industries. Sady is also a member of Rich Tech, Richmond's Technology Council.
