Big 4 audit, tax and advisory firm KPMG LLP has announced the appointment of Tim Zuber as the firm's U.S. Partner-in-Charge (PIC) of Knowledge & Collaboration Management (KCM).
As U.S. PIC for KCM, Zuber will accelerate KPMG's knowledge-based and collaborative culture through real-time scaling of leading practices across the firm's Audit, Tax and Advisory practices. He will serve on the firm's U.S. Strategic Investments Committee and lead execution of the overall KCM strategy at the industry, office and account levels.
"Tim is an experienced partner with extensive client responsibilities who has demonstrated success with team building and execution in key client and service leadership roles, making him an ideal choice to help drive firmwide knowledge management initiatives," said Steven Hill, U.S. Vice Chair of Strategic Investments. "KPMG is focused on enabling our partners and employees with the critical marketplace intelligence, regulatory and industry insights, and other knowledge and collaboration tools they need to deliver superior service and the full breadth of KPMG's best thinking to our clients."
Zuber, 45, who is based in New York, is also a member of the firm's Tax Executive Leadership Team.
"In a high-performance, knowledge-driven culture, this is an exciting time for the firm as we implement innovative methods to collaborate and turn knowledge into value for our clients and employees," said Zuber, who began his career with KPMG as an intern in 1988.
Zuber, of Morganville, N.J., graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in accounting and from Villanova University with a master's degree in taxation.
