Payroll and human resources service provider Paycom celebrated its 15-year anniversary in the payroll and HR services this week. Part of the company's tribute to the milestone was hosting motivational speaker Jim Stovall to be its guest speaker during an all-employee luncheon.

Founded in 1998, Paycom was among the early pioneers in web-based/software-as-a-service payroll, as well as offering a pay-as-you-go pricing model. This, combined with proprietary development of its technology, has helped businesses better manage and access their payroll data, the company said in a statement.

“Paycom’s continued success over the previous 15 years is a reflection of faith and the dedication of our employees,” said Founder and CEO, Chad Richison. “I am very proud of how far our company has come and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.”

As part of its commemorative activities, Paycom celebrated its accomplishments with its employees at a catered luncheon. The festivities included a highlight video and guest speaker Stovall.

Stovall, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a former national champion Olympic weightlifter, the founder and president of the Emmy-winning Narrative Television Network and a renowned author of 25 books. One of them, The Ultimate Gift, was made into a major motion picture in 2006 starring fellow Oklahoman James Garner.
