The Ohio Society of CPAs is giving accounting students the opportunity to showcase their lives outside the accounting world with the OSCPA “Me in a Moment” video contest. The contest will give students the opportunity to talk about the part-time jobs, campus activities and community service activities they dedicate their time to when they are not studying to become a CPA.

“OSCPA loves learning about and supporting our future CPAs,” said Karen West, CAE, vice president, academic & career awareness. “We hope “Me in a Moment” will show just how well-rounded accounting students are.”

Interested students must create a short 30-second video beginning with the phrase “I can’t wait to be a CPA! But when I’m not studying you can find me…” The most creative videos will be posted on the Ohio YCPA Facebook page for judging. The videos will be judged based on creativity, originality and the amount of Facebook “likes” received. All entries must be submitted to Rebecca Hixen at rhixen@ohio-cpa.com by May 1. The top three winners will be announced in May and receive a free Becker CPA Review course and a $50 Visa gift card, valued at $3,315.
