Thomson Reuters has announced it will hold two-day conferences to help accounting firms successfully build their payroll services.
Thomson Reuters’ Payroll Summits will guide professionals through examining their current payroll services while creating plans to implement or build upon their current payroll processing services. Attendees will learn about available technology, best practices and strategic planning, as well as marketing strategies.
“Our users rely on us to be more than a software vendor,” he said. “They have come to expect thought leadership events that help them improve their businesses and better serve their clients. Our Partner Summits have resonated with customers, and I’m pleased that we’re able to build on that success with the new Payroll Summits.”
The Summit will take place September 26-27 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and October 1-2 in St. Louis, Missouri, and is open to 40 attendees in each city. Presenters include: Samantha Mansfield, Senior Technical Consultant at Thomson Reuters; Sean Manning, CPA, Managing Partner of Manning and Company, P.C. and founder of Payroll Vault.
“Sean Manning’s first-hand experience building a payroll services business from the ground up coupled with our expertise in technology and process innovation will create a great atmosphere for idea sharing and strategic planning,” said Scott Fleszar, Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “Advances in cloud computing technology, the increasingly complex payroll compliance and regulatory environment, and the inherent client “stickiness” that comes from delivering payroll services have made it an attractive proposition for more and more firms. It represents a big opportunity for those who are prepared to capitalize.”
