Sensata Technologies Names COO and CEO
Sensata Technologies recently announced the promotions of several management positions. Jeff Cote, CPA has been selected as Chief Operating Officer; Martha Sullivan as Chief Executive Officer; and Steve Beringhause as Senior Vice President of Sensors Asia and the Americas.

In his new role, Cote will have responsibility for the company’s Global Operations, Human Resources, Investor Relations and Communications, Information Technology, Facilities, Environmental, Health and Safety and Legal departments. Cote was previously Sensata’s Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer and prior to that served as Chief Operating Officer at Ropes & Gray LLP. He received his bachelor degree in business administration and his Master of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University. He is certified in Florida and Massachusetts.

Beringhause held various design engineering roles within Sensata’s predecessor, Texas Instruments, before taking the position of Business Manager of the Occupant Weigh Sensor Program. Since then he has served as Vice President of Sensor Americas and Vice President of Sensors Asia. Beringhause graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with his Bachelor of Science and master degrees in mechanical engineering.

Plumas Bancorp Announces Two New Executive Vice Presidents
Plumas Bancorp, parent company of Plumas Bank, recently promoted Richard L. Belstock, CPA to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Kerry D. Wilson to Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Plumas Bank.

Belstock currently manages the company’s accounting, internal audit, risk management, financial reporting, budgeting, assets and liabilities, and internal controls. He graduated from the University of Colorado with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and received his Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Denver.

Wilson’s responsibility includes managing the bank’s loan portfolio and lending activities. Wilson has 30 years of banking experience and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Chico State University. He has also completed a program at the Western Agricultural Credit School at Washington State University and a graduate level program at the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Warbird Names Managing Directors
Warbird Consulting Partners recently announced the promotion of two directors to managing director: CarolAnn Denton-Fitzpatrick and Scott Peterson.

Denton-Fitzpatrick has more than 20 years of experience in government contracts and financial services engagements and compliance and due diligence reviews. She received her PhD in finance and accounting from Kennedy-Western University, her MBA in statistical economics and accounting from Cleveland State University and her bachelor degree in chemistry and mathematics from the University of the West Indies.

Peterson has more than 25 years’ experience working with clients in financial planning and analysis, shared services and accounting. He graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and from Emory University with his MBA from Emory University.

David Haddock Elected Chairman of the TSCPA Board
Dr. M. David Haddock, Jr., CPA, Director of Training at Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC, was recently selected as Chair of the Board for the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to serving as Chair, Haddock will also serve as a member of the Board of Trustees of TSCPA’s Educational & Memorial Foundation, which oversees the continuing education for CPAs and awards academic scholarship to accounting students attending Tennessee’s colleges and universities. Haddock graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with his bachelor and master degrees and received his Doctor of Education Degree from Auburn University.

SolomonEdwards Names New Director of Dallas Office
SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC, a national business advisory and professional staffing firm, recently announced the selection of Melanie Farmer, CPA as director of its Dallas office. Farmer’s expertise includes technical accounting, SEC reporting, audit services and banking and financial services, as well as knowledge about the oil and gas, retail and restaurant and technology professions. Farmer received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Krost, Baumgarten, Kniss & Guerrero, a full-service Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firm, recently announce the appointment of Elizabeth Hugh, CPA as its new Chief Operating Officer. Hugh will be responsible for developing the firm’s mentoring program, creating policies and procedures for the firm’s client services, executing strategic plans, promoting efficiency, and developing training programs.
