CPA Practice Advisor's Annual "Most Powerful Women in Accounting" recognizes the women who are having the greatest impact on the tax and accounting field. Professionals who are emerging as the next generation of firm leaders, whether through new technologies, practices, workflow or dynamic work environments. All nominees must be women who currently work in or in roles that promote the tax and accounting profession, including firm operations staff, marketing professionals and technology vendors that serve the profession.

The "40 Under 40" program recognizes young professionals who are having an impact on the broader accounting and tax profession. These may be individuals currently practicing in the tax and accounting space, or those who work with professionals and firms to help them achieve greater productivity and growth in their firms.
If you know someone deserving of this recognition, please let us know. (Multiple nominations do not increase an individual's likelihood of being selected.) There are no costs involved in the program, either for the person making the nomination, or for the person being nominated, regardless of if they are selected. The nomination deadline is Aug 13, 2014.

The Readers' Choice Awards allow those in and around the tax and accounting professions to select their favorite programs, hardware and other resources from more than 25 categories. This section gives readers an opportunity to voice support for the products they love, and also gives vendors valuable insight into the loyalty of their users.

CPA Practice Advisor's annual Tax & Accounting Technology Innovation Awards have been the pinnacle of recognition for technology vendors serving the tax and accounting profession. The awards recognize outside-the-box thinking in product development, breakthrough technologies, state of the art design and implementation, and cutting edge concepts that help accounting professionals and their clients be more productive and profitable.
Award recipients will be decided by the Award Committee, which is comprised of the editorial staff at CPA Practice Advisor, thought leaders among the profession, and the publication's Editorial Advisory Board. Board members include accounting and tax professionals from various sized firms across the country who are engaged in a variety of practice areas.
