What’s the one piece of technology that MOST helps you get through
your normal workday?

“My dual monitors. This change has really helped since so much of the
work we do is now paperless. It’s also easier on my eyes than looking
at my laptop screen all day. I keep one landscape and the other portrait and
move things between them as needed. I spend a lot less time switching applications
and resizing windows now.”

What will be the biggest change over the next five years in the ways
tax and accounting firms operate?

“It’s probably impossible to predict a five-year horizon but hopefully
remote access to applications will become commonplace and make interacting with
clients’ accounting systems much easier. The technology is already there
and being used by some, but it has a way to go in terms of acceptance and ease
of use.”
