What’s the one piece of technology that MOST helps you get through
your normal workday?

“My laptop. My broadband card allows me to be online at all times during
the day no matter where I am. I prefer e-mailing clients versus calling to allow
clients to correspond with me when it is convenient to them.”

What will be the biggest change over the next five years in the ways
tax and accounting firms operate?

“Electronic workpapers have seemed to be a challenge for firms to implement
the previous five years, and I believe it will continue for the next five years.
Internal partner review, peer review and retention all factor into the applicability
of electronic workpapers. Clients are clamoring for more electronic means to
provide documentation, and we need to meet their expectations.”
