NetSuite Multi-Channel Retail Management Suite with OnSite POS was developed
as a part of NetSuite’s SuiteApps program, which offers applications designed
to integrate with NetSuite’s SaaS product.

Billed as the first on-demand software to integrate the entire retail business
from web store to financials, retailers can easily manage all aspects of their
business from online store inventory to stock levels at each brick-and-mortar
location.

NetSuite Multi-Channel Retail Management offers a long list of features and
benefits, including the ability to track inventory levels, customers and orders
at all retail stores and warehouse locations, and across all channels including
ecommerce, tradeshows and telesales.

Customer tracking capability takes on a whole new level with the ability to
track customer purchasing habits and provide targeted marketing to customers
based on a series of criteria including customer demographics and items purchased.
The Retail Management Suite provides a full-featured web store that integrates
with a retailer’s physical locations. Inventory can be tracked for movement,
and management can easily monitor best and worst selling products. Also available
are role-based dashboards and access to complete store financials.

The POS option found in the Retail Management Suite offers a long list of
valuable features, including an embedded time and attendance application, a
fully functional Open and Close Register component, the ability to accept multiple
domestic and foreign currencies at the time of the sales transaction, and the
ability to process sales transactions, gift certificates, store credits and
refunds all from the same sales entry screen. Users can also process customer
sales voids, accept coupons and promotional pricing, offer mix-and-match pricing
levels, and set up products with multiple dimensions, sizes and colors.

Customer reward programs can be offered, and users can provide quotes and
accept customer deposits, as well. An excellent audit trail provides management
with a record of all system transactions including price adjustments, discounts
entered, refunds processed and any sales transaction voids. The Cash Drawer
Management function provides a tight level of management between shifts, with
enhanced reporting options available for each register at the end of each shift.

The shift reconciliation process accounts for both coins and bills detail,
with each denomination counted out, recorded, and then opening register balances
subtracted. Electronic signature capture can be used for multi-level signature
acceptance with the ability to sign for credit cards, terms transactions and
even custom disclaimers for specific products or services.

Functions can be restricted to only management-level personnel, prohibiting
cashiers from processing system refunds and voids without managerial approval.
The POS module integrates with a variety of hardware peripherals including credit
card readers, barcode scanners, receipt printers and customer-facing electronic
signature capture/swipe/display terminals.

With too many features listed to mention, it’s worth a visit to OnSite’s
website, www.onsitetechnology.com,
for more information. Pricing for the Retail Management Suite with the Point
of Sale module varies according to customer requirements.
